Before embracing his current pursuits, Jaffer served as an esteemed officer in the Kenyan Army, contributing to the country’s security and well-being. However, his ambitions extended beyond military life. In 2013, Jaffer fearlessly stepped into the political arena, putting himself forward as a presidential candidate in the Kenyan elections, demonstrating his drive to bring positive change to his homeland.

Jaffer’s passion for development and advocacy led him to found the Diligent Development Alliance Party of Kenya. Guided by a strong belief in justice, freedom, and equality, he remains a staunch human rights defender both at home and on the global stage. However, in 2019, faced with political persecution, Jaffer made a difficult decision to put his personal safety first, leaving his family behind in Kenya and seeking refuge in the United Kingdom.

Jaffer’s dedication to service transcends borders. During his tenure in the Kenya Army, he contributed to peacekeeping efforts as part of the United Nations in former Yugoslavia. These experiences broadened his perspective and deepened his commitment to promoting harmony and stability around the world.

Education has played a pivotal role in shaping Jaffer’s intellectual prowess. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Global Politics and international relations. Eager to expand his knowledge further, he pursued a Master’s degree in Global Politics, Governance, and Security from the esteemed University of London, further equipping himself with the tools to effect positive change on a global scale.

Beyond his professional achievements, Jaffer takes immense pride in his role as a husband and father. He is married to Salma Kassim, and together, they are blessed with three wonderful boys named Haytham, Harith, and Habeel.
