Welcome to my website!
I’m Jaffer Isaak, a devoted husband, father, and passionate advocate for positive change. My life’s journey has been profoundly shaped by my unwavering commitment to service, justice, and a vision of a better, more equitable world for future generations.
For a decade, I served in the Kenya Army, a period that included my role in the United Nations peacekeeping mission in the former Yugoslavia. These pivotal experiences sparked within me a lifelong commitment to peace, cooperation, and the pursuit of global unity. In 2002, I made the life-altering decision to move to the United Kingdom, where I have lived for the past 23 years. While I embraced my new life here, my deep ties to Kenya have never wavered, and my passion for my homeland has remained a constant driving force in my life.
With a deep sense of responsibility to bring meaningful change to Kenya, I became heavily involved in the country's political landscape. I campaigned tirelessly for justice, transparency, and systemic reform. This journey even led me to run as a presidential candidate, founding a political party with the bold aim of transforming Kenya’s political system. However, my efforts to challenge the status quo were met with intense persecution. In 2019, after enduring political torture, I was forced to flee Kenya to escape threats to my life.
Yet, despite these immense hardships, my resolve remained unshaken. I continued my pursuit of knowledge, earning a Bachelor's degree in Global Politics and International Relations, followed by a Master's degree in Global Politics, Governance, and Security from Birkbeck, University of London. These academic achievements, combined with my lived experiences, have equipped me with invaluable insights into global issues. Today, I use this knowledge to advocate for democracy, human rights, and the values of justice and equality on a global scale.
In February 2025, I published my autobiography, Surviving Broken Society, a deeply personal and candid account of my journey—one that has been shaped by resilience, unwavering determination, and a relentless pursuit of justice and democracy in Kenya. This story is not just mine; it is a reflection of the struggles many face in a society marked by hardship and injustice. For years, I was denied any opportunity to share my story with the public or through the media, leaving my side of the narrative untold. This book serves as both a personal testament to my experiences and a powerful statement of the need for freedom of expression, highlighting the fight to be heard in a world that too often silences those seeking truth and accountability.
Thank you for visiting my site. Let’s join forces to inspire change, cultivate understanding, and work together towards creating a world where justice, equality, and human dignity prevail.
